About Gurudarshan Khalsa
It's been quite the journey to learn how to live in the center of myself, even when parts of myself get taken away.
Let me tell you what I mean by that.
2013: I lost my mind.
A three-part movable wall fell on me at work, causing a traumatic brain injury that took away my ability to function in the world. I couldn't think clearly. I couldn't be in public. The anxiety was so overwhelming that I became a prisoner in my own nervous system.
But something unexpected happened in that isolation.
I started creating art.
Not just any art. It was visionary meditation pieces rooted in sacred geometry and light codes. Art that helped regulate my own shattered nervous system. Art that became the bridge between the person I was and the person I was becoming.
I didn't know it then, but I was creating environmental medicine for trauma survivors.
By 2017, I had become a full-time artist in Santa Fe, New Mexico. My work was selling. I was rebuilding. I thought I had found my way back....
2017: I lost my body.
A debilitating rollover RV accident changed everything again.
Hip replacement. Degloved hand. Fractured vertebrae. Anterograde amnesia so severe that years of my life were erased where I couldn't even remember the day before. The hip replacement left me unable to walk for nine months.
But it wasn't just my body I lost.
I lost my ability to regulate my emotions.
The frontal lobe injury meant I couldn't control how I would react. I spiraled into a version of myself I didn't recognize. I had to learn to function without my brain, without my physical body, without the emotional regulation that makes us feel human.
I was learning to live in the center of myself when there was almost nothing left from within my own center.
2020: I lost my spiritual foundation.
At the beginning of the pandemic, a book came out exposing the truth about the 3HO Kundalini Yoga community. My spiritual teacher, Yogi Bhajan, the man whose teachings had been my anchor for decades, was revealed to be a sexual predator.
My whole world collapsed. Everything I had used to rebuild myself, the practices, the philosophy, the community, suddenly felt like a lie. I didn't know which parts of Kundalini yoga were pure practice and which were manipulation tools designed for control and domination.
I had to finally sit with the underlying traumatic programs and patterns that had been haunting me my whole life.
The patterns started early.
At age 5, I was sent away to boarding school in India, a deliberate attempt to break the concept of the family unit and make me more reliant on the collective community instead of my sense of self.
From ages 5 to 12, I was raised in boarding schools where yoga and meditation became punishment, not joy. Where my individuality was systematically dismantled. Where I learned that safety meant compliance, not authenticity.
The 30+ moves I made over the last 8 years? They weren't random.
They were my childhood trauma playing out in real time, constantly searching for safety in locations that would inevitably become unsafe, where people would try power trips on me, where I'd have to leave and start over again.
And there was more loss.
Children lost to miscarriages and abortions.
Career and financial abudance stripped away.
Relationships that couldn't survive the weight of so much transformation.
I've spent years trying to climb my way back from it all.
Here's what I learned:
You can't rely on the external world for your peace.
Not your body. Not your mind. Not your memory. Not your spiritual teachers. Not your locations. Not your practices.
But you also can't force peace through effort.
I tried that. I became obsessed with healing. I turned every practice into a drill sergeant routine. I beat myself up daily for not "bettering myself" enough. I burned out completely.
There had to be a middle ground.
And I found it in the most unexpected place: my own home.
When I finally had a space I could design, simple, calm, lightly decorated, everything shifted. Not because I added more practices. Not because I tried harder.
But because my environment finally supported my nervous system instead of fighting it.
That's when I understood:
Calm isn't something you earn through effort.
It's something your environment can support.
This is what Aquarian Vision is built on.
For over two decades, I've been an intuitive healing artist, oracle card deck creator, and seasoned yoga and meditation instructor. My work integrates the ancient wisdom of mystery schools with sacred geometry light codes, creating visionary meditation art that serves as environmental medicine. My art has been featured on PBS, Japanese television, and in galleries including "The Last Gallery on the Right" on Santa Fe's Canyon Road, where I've curated alongside Georgia O'Keeffe's work. But more than credentials, what I bring is this:I've learned to live in the center of myself even when parts of myself get taken away. And I'm here to help you do the same.
I'm not here to give you another practice.
I'm not here to add to your to do list.
I'm not here to tell you to try harder.
I'm not here to promise that if you just do the work, everything will be okay.
Because I know that's not true.
I'm here to help you step out of the Effort Spiral by creating environments that support calm, clarity, and nervous system regulation, without more effort.
I'm here to help you find the center that can't be taken away, even when everything else is.
My work is for you if:
You're sensitive, perceptive, and spiritually oriented, but living in a world that feels like it's constantly overstimulating your nervous system.
You've been through trauma, loss, or betrayal that shattered your foundation, and you're trying to rebuild without a blueprint.
You've tried the practices, the routines, the tools, and you're exhausted from effort based calm.
You're ready to create an environment that supports you instead of one you have to constantly overcome.
You want to feel regulated without it being another job.
You're done losing yourself to survive, and ready to find the center that remains whole no matter what gets taken away.
What you'll find here:

Currently based in Hawaii, I draw inspiration from the natural world and sacred sites around the globe. But my deepest inspiration comes from what I've survived, and what I've learned about the human spirit's capacity to find wholeness even in the wreckage.
Welcome to Aquarian Vision.
Let's create the space your nervous system has been asking for and find the center that remains whole no matter what life takes away.
